Hello dear friends,
Ever thought of your wishlist? I tried to create mine. I was surprised to see that my list wasn’t long as I expected before jotting it down. It’s not because I have accomplished most of the things in life but I realised that at this stage of my life I know my priorities.
This realisation is so very important element. It makes you count & feel the blessings around you.
As cliche as it may sound, but our needs or wishes are never ending & hence most of the times the grass looks greener to us on the other side.
If you see something glittery on your way & still don’t miss owning it, you’re at the best phase of your life! Yes, it’s necessary to break up the fast pace of life & look around to see where you have reached. Take a moment to inhale the goodness you’re surrounded with. This makes you live in the moment & when you do so, the grass looks green on both sides.
Even if we want we can’t erase the nurturing expectations we have in our subconscious mind. When these expectations doesn’t turn out the way we want, it hurts. The best we can do is, minimise those expectations by adopting “Let’s see what happens” attitude! Sometimes I joke around saying- “Life is all about tricking your brain & band aiding your heart. :D” Do you guys think so too?
I believe success isn’t always about how much bank balance do you have or how lavish lifestyle you live but it’s all about your realisation of the things you are blessed with. When you look around you’ll find that there are million others who don’t even have, what you do!
A minute of gratitude for this beautiful day is much bigger & better than just complaining about what you don’t have. Really this really defines a better life.
Remember, the grass is greener where your focus is.
Till next time stay happy and fab!
-Shweta ♥

The dawn of realization that we have enough to lead a happy life is a blessing in itself. Not many people at your age can talk about their wishlist or perspective of life with such maturity, clarity and positivity.
More power to you Shweta for spreading the goodness of being grateful in life through your blog 🙂

Hehehehe.. Loveheart makeup is never off topic❤️❤️❤️
I had used a YSL touché éclat corrector pen & then applied Mac Vanilla pigment on the cheeks for that strobing kinda thing..
These days I’m out of touché éclat,😭😭so I’m relying on revlon skin illuminator with faces shimmer powder in pink… And believe me love… No kidding, but it works just as well as the top brands.. 😱😱😱
Some technique and proper blending& you’re gonna be worth a million.. ❤️❤️
I realised one thing, makeup isn’t about great brands only,it’s about the techniques & decent enough products to work with.
What do you say??

Exactly! It’s all about the right product not the right price 😀 You have an amazing application skill babe!! Your makeup look flawless, defining your features sharply! I’m going to order the Revlon thingy tonight!! :)) xo

Very well written..everyone has this urge to get the best of everything..the best of clothes, the best phone etc. Like you said, money is not everything. Happiness depends on us. It is time to focus on what we have rather than what we don’t have.

Well said Shamira ☺ Even I feel the same! Life isn’t that easy, why to make it more complicated with an ignored present & highly expected future 🙂

True words, Shweta! One more often than not, tries to put their entire focus on the thing they lack instead of being grateful/ content. Nicely written! 🙂

Excellent counsel, Shweta. I heard someone say one time, “The grass may be greener on the other side, but it still needs to be mowed.”

Great post. I think our idea of success is mainly based on acquiring a wealth of material items not a wealth of of real fulfilment in way that’s individual to each of us.
