Maybelline White Superfresh 12HR Whitening + Perfecting Compact Review

It’s been really long that I have published a post on any review. Though I have many such posts pending & resting in the draft, this becomes a priority as I LOVE MNY babies to the moon & back. It has always managed to impress me. But with my reviews I always try to keep it as simple & honest as possible. So without further ado let me share this fine product with you loves.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT : (As mentioned in the packaging)

Women feel their complexion looks and feels best in the morning- right after applying the compact. However, as the day goes on, ordinary compacts may mix with sweat and oil. Making the complexion look dark, dull and patchy. And feel cakey and dirty.

Perlite: A pure mineral with skin perfecting powers. Visibly lightens complexion, while absorbing sweat and oil.

UV Filters: Protect skin from both sun darkening and damage.

12HR Fair, Fresh and Perfect: Fair, fresh and protected, your complexion looks and feels perfect all day long-even in hot, humid weather.

HOW TO USE :

Apply all over the face and neck with the puff provided. Blend well around the eyes, along the hairline and jawline, for a naturally perfect-looking complexion.

My Experience:

Being a big MNY fan, I was super excited to receive & try this product. The specifications mentioned in the packaging made me really feel good as my skin is a combo (dry + oily) right now & I was really looking for something that can control the sweat & oil at the same time in my T zone especially. For more than a week I used this & I must say it does control the oil even after 3+ hours. But after that I needed a quick touch up & afterwards I was good to go.

The moment you apply MNY White SuperFresh, it glides like butter into your skin & completes the look with a great finesse. Before anything else you will definitely notice the mild floral fragrance that’s very soothing.

The best part is that it doesn’t give you that cakey effect post makeup under the eyes. It gives the skin a fresh look within no time & maintain it for hours effortlessly. Though the 12hr whitening + perfecting effect seems to be a bit challenging. Also, it depends on the skin type you have.

This compact comes in 3 shades:
pearl, shell and coral. Since shell seemed the best & closest to my complexion, I preferred it over the other two shades.

It definitely blended well with my skin tone but I still feel there should have been more shades to choose from like something between pearl & shell.

CONCLUSION:

Seeing this fabulously priced compact, I’m definitely going to purchase this as soon as I run out of this. Also, I didn’t breakout after the applications so yay for that! 😁

Cons:

Though this compact will definitely suit the Indian skin tones but it would have been great if MNY comes up with more shades to choose from.

I would definitely recommend this to you all to try & experience the awesomeness. Considering it’s price, it’s worth a try!
