I so clearly remember those childhood days when my mother, grandma & grandpa used to feed the staff at home or those leprosy community in my city which my mom was so attached to, on my birthdays, Christmas or sometimes on no occasions too.
With all my innocence I used to watch people getting fed & giving blessings to us. My family’s definition of celebration was very simple – feed the poor.
I also remember mom’s words- “Ann daan se bada koi daan nahi hota beta” (“dear, there’s no bigger charity than feeding someone”). Back then I never realised the importance of these words until I experienced the same.
To be honest it doesn’t matter how many are you feeding or how much you have to feed, the important thing that matters is the transparent intentions & efforts that you put in towards this deed.
Even if we can feed one homeless/less privileged person to best of our abilities, trust me it makes huge difference to him!
You really don’t have to be a millionaire to bring a wide smile with a sparkle of happiness on someone’s face. I know many of us are already contributing to the society we live in & that’s what keeps the belief on humanity still alive.
The idea of publishing this post was to inspire & keep getting inspired. We are ultimately what we see. We unconsciously learn so much in life watching different things around & this is why it’s so important to set the right example to the upcoming generation.
I hope the message is directly delivered to your hearts. 💕 Have a great Sunday friends. βΊ
Till next time stay happy and fab!

Truly a great, inspiring message my dear. Your family seems to be very kind and generous and I’m sure you are too. Your mom is right – there’s nothing greater than feeding the hungry ππΌ

Problem with this world is not poverty ,its poor management ,according to me no one except a kid ,or a person who is terminally ill ,has got right to be fed without doing work ,don’t feed any beggar ,they are used to getting without efforts ,give them work ,after that give them money if they do that work .

I don’t think you read my post well, I mentioned under privileged not beggars. Everyone has their own way of treating that dark part of society that begs to live, I respect yours:)

Giving food is one of the simplest and better things to somebody who is hungry .. One they are satiated, the tummy has limits..

Shweta I agree with your mom’s words…..feeding the hungry is the best form of charity. So good to know about people doing such great service!

I can clearly tell how much I will like you when I would meet you in real! Its the way you pour your thoughts. I’m myself a doctor and its indirectly a profession in which you can help so many poor people! But Im not happy as I gain money for helping them and there are limitations too, so Im going to be in some NGO too when I will have my PG specialization hehe π
Its such a great feeling when you help them! I loved your post! KEEP WRITING AND KEEP INSPIRING AS PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE NEEDED IN EACH CORNER OF THE WORLD!!
