Faces CC Cream : Review

Hello beautiful people,

This is my second try on Faces – Canada cosmetics. This time it’s their CC Cream. I so wanted something that could act as a base to my makeup or for those days when I don’t want to wear any.

What it claims:  

It claims to Prime, Perfect & Protect the skin with SPF 20 (UVA/UVB) with 12 hours of hydration to the skin. It has anti aging actions.

What it actually does:

I have an oily to combination skin, with this cream my skin looks shine free not for 12 hours but a somewhere between 6-8 hours.
It doesn’t moisturises much. So you need to prep your skin with a moisturiser before applying it.
It for sure primes the face. I’m now addicted to it, just for this reason! It does fill up my pores and prevents makeup to get into those pores, making it look uneven & patchy.

It for sure doesn’t corrects all the imperfections, as it claims but has a mild to medium coverage. If you have heavy acne marks or scars then you ofcourse will have to reach out to a concealer.

It easily glides on the skin. But what I have observed is one has to be really fast while applying it. The cream tends to be dry after a while, after coming out of the tube.

It’s a great summer cream, when you don’t wanna wear any makeup & still wanna look great & with few dabs of setting powder you’re good to go out in the sun. ☀
It doesn’t melt or moves away with the sweat, that’s a big thumbs up. 👍

Where it could have been better:

It comes in two shades: Sand ( yellow tone) & Natural (pink tone). I wish there were more shades to suit other skin tones too. I picked up Natural & luckily it matches mine perfectly.

Also, it can have more moisturising agents in it making it less dry.

Am I buying it again?

With a decent price of Rs. 399 ( 6 USD ) for 35 ml I’m surely buying this again for the mattifying effect it has.

I would not recommend this to someone with dry skin.

If you have pores that always pops out with or without makeup then this is the cream you to try.
